Bulwark #42 - “Llewin Moth”
The city is known by many names, depending on who you ask. In the Louthian Empire, a reedy clerk with the severe slashes indicating their rank will tell you that it is Bulwark 42. Flokenthians dripping the information like honey into your tea might describe it as Swathima, after a popular dish of many ingredients. A mage of the Bucham Brotherhood would not even recognize the premise, until you called it Xur’s Toybox, at which point they might smile knowingly. The Granlandian’s name for it has settled the most to those living there (and not just because the majority are Granlandians) - Llewin Moth, after an ancient forest deity slain at the rising of the mountains in the center of the continent.
It is here that the bravest and the boldest have set out to begin to reclaim the ancient histories of the mysterious and dangerous liminal fields. Much has been gambled, many insist that this territory is unlivable, and that only the coasts of Darteia can be safely colonized. Only the actions of the stalwart and intrepid adventurers can bring stability to this town, and much gold, glory, and lore lie outside the city’s walls.
(This is a rough setting for a West Marches campaign, set on the continent of Darteia - for more information, see other blog posts or contact us to ask additional questions and perhaps begin your own adventure in Llewin Moth)
